Producer of All-Natural, Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Beef

Located in Maggie, Virginia, Black Diamond Ranch, LLC, is a family-owned and operated cattle ranch producing all-natural grassfed beef since 2009. 

We are surrounded by national forest in Craig County, which is part of the pristine Appalachian Mountain region known as Virginia’s Western Highlands. Our ranch runs adjacent to Johns Creek, and sits between Seven Mile Mountain and Johns Creek Mountain. We are an hour from downtown Roanoke, and 30 minutes to Blacksburg. In addition to more than 120 acres at the Black Diamond Ranch, we lease an additional 200 for hay production.

Our owner, Steve Bartlett, is a retired Navy Captain and Vietnam veteran with more than 30 years of honorable service to our nation.

Our healthy herd consists of Red Devon and Black Angus cattle. They have a constant supply of sunshine and fresh mountain air, and are watered by a spring-fed, gravity-powered irrigation system designed by our owner himself.
